It Must Be Halloween by LVCRFT

“It Must Be Halloween” is an LVCRFT single released September 2, 2022: a catchy, slightly scared singalong about all the signs that Halloween is here. The song is a re-write of Andrew Gold’s original “It Must Be Halloween.”

Listen on Apple Music or Spotify.

What it sounds like

A midtempo 112 BPM electronic dance track with DejaVudu on lead vocals. Synths, bass, drums and percussion keep it bright and upbeat, with an atmospheric edge and a “La la la” outro that gets stuck in your head.

What it’s about

A ghost, a cat, goblins trick-or-treating, a howling wolf and laughing witches. Then there’s a sound under the bed, monsters rising from the dead and a heartbeat getting faster. It must be Halloween.

Ya the ghost says
And the cat says
Goblins go trick or treat
