Boneshaker by LVCRFT

“Boneshaker” is LVCRFT’s Halloween party starter from the 2020 album The Sequel. Its message is simple: “I came to shake the bones out ya body.” A kids’ version featuring Barry Under Your Bed is on the 2025 album Halloween Kids.

Listen on Apple Music or Spotify.

What it sounds like

A midtempo 110 BPM dance track mixing hip-hop and reggae rhythms. DejaVudu’s swaggering vocal rides heavy bass, drums and synths, building to a chanted “Boneshaker” hook made for a packed, haunted dance floor.

What it’s about

A haunted house party. Bumps in the night, zombies on the dance floor and bass in the basement, with a host who promises he won’t bite (maybe). Nights like this don’t come every day, so get your bones ready to shake.

Boneshaker lyrics

Verse 1
What’s that bump in the night?
Make me go up down left to the right
Domino fall back wooh that’s alright
Think we should blow this spot dynamite
Ooooh I can’t get away
Nice place to visit but you wouldn’t wanna stay
But since yah he hey lets celebrate
Better get ya bones ready cause they gonna shake

Pre-Chorus
I don’t know what you came to do butta, I came to party
I don’t know what you came to do butta, let’s get started
I don’t know what you came to do butta this night is haunted
So let that ghost inside of ya know
that I came to shake the bones out ya body

Chorus
Boneshaker
Boneshaker
Boneshaker
I’m The Boneshaker

Verse 2
Don’t be scared of the night
Don’t you know shadows come from the light
Come a little closer I won’t bite
Maybe I won’t but baby I might
Oooooh don’t be afraid
Nights like this don’t come every day
Wake Up you’re not at your wake
Cause can get sleep when you laying in the grave

Bridge
Do you really wanna shake that
Do you really wanna shake that
Feel the bass in the basement
Zombie, come and get a facelift
Don’t you really wanna shake that
Don’t you really wanna shake that
I’m about to get the place lit
Zombie, Zombie

Pre-Chorus
I don’t know what you came to do butta, I came to party
I don’t know what you came to do butta, let’s get started
I don’t know what you came to do butta this night is haunted
So let that ghost inside of ya know
