LVCRFT “V”: The Origin Story

In Lieu of a Trailer, We Made a Horror Short… Obviously.

For their fifth album, V, LVCRFT didn’t just drop a trailer — they dropped LORE.
Instead of a their traditional movie-style preview trailer, the spooky pop collective released a short horror film, LVCRFT “V”: Origin Story, revealing the twisted backstory behind the album and one of its most beloved (and undead) characters: Skeleton Sam.

As Deepkutz, Norman Crates, and Lil Punkin were finishing their fifth studio album, a series of mysterious events and spooky hauntings began to unfold — all caught on security cams and phones. What followed is the footage… as they left it. Or so I have heard…

Told in serialized vertical episodes across social media, the film follows the trio as they receive a posthumous letter from Skeleton Sam. The message? Sam died trying to solve a supernatural melody — one that could release his one true love, Seraphina, from purgatory. The melody — which fans can now hear in the haunting track “Seraphina” from V — might be the key to salvation… or damnation.

Shot on location at the legendary Delusion Immersive Theater experience in Pomona and LVCRFT’s own dungeon recording studio in LA, the series fuses behind-the-scenes chaos with haunted lore, blurring the line between real and unreal.

The only question now is: Will LVCRFT unlock the melody in time to save Seraphina? Or will they be dragged into the same purgatory holding her soul?

V is out now on all streaming platforms. The story begins with the first eerie clip. Keep watching… if you dare.
