Valloween: When Valentine’s Day Gets Spooky
Valloween is Valentine’s Day for people whose hearts are black, beating and maybe in a jar. Red roses become dead roses, candy hearts get a little bloody, and date night is a horror double feature. LVCRFT has the love song, “Deadly Valentine”, and a Deadly Valentine you can send.
When is Valloween?
February 14, right on Valentine’s Day. Some fans stretch it across the whole week. Next up: Sunday, February 14, 2027.

What is Valloween?
Halloween + Valentine’s Day. It’s for couples, besties and solo ghouls who’d rather swap skulls than hearts. Libraries, haunts and horror fans have been celebrating it for years, and it’s growing every February.
Also known as
Valloween, Valoween, Valentoween, Spooky Valentine’s Day, Gothic Valentine’s, Horror Valentine’s and Valentine’s Day for goths.

Valloween at The Queen Mary
In 2026, LVCRFT helped bring Dark Masquerade to life at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, a Valentine’s night of masks, music and the macabre. We supplied the DJ sets, audio and creative consulting, and staged something no one saw coming: the first secret Graceful Gale performance of LVCRFT’s “First Blood,” deep in the ship’s boiler room.
Watch Graceful Gale in the official “First Blood” music video:
Will the masquerade return? The Queen Mary keeps her secrets. Join the LVCRFT coven to hear first.
