Summerween: Halloween in Summer
Summerween is Halloween’s summer twin: pumpkins meet pool parties, ghosts get sunburned, and the spooky season never really ends. And it has a soundtrack: “Summerween (Midsummer Scream)” by LVCRFT, the official theme of Midsummer Scream.
When is Summerween?
The classic date is June 22, straight from the 2012 Gravity Falls episode that started it all. Some fans celebrate on July 22, and plenty keep it going all summer. Next up: Tuesday, June 22, 2027.
What is Summerween?
An unofficial holiday that celebrates Halloween in the middle of summer. Born in a cartoon, now everywhere: social media, home decor aisles, haunts and conventions. If you can’t wait until October, Summerween is for you.
Also known as
