Scream Warriors

LVCRFT’s Scream Warriors is a groundbreaking collaboration between the spooky pop collective and legendary horror composer Christopher Young, renowned for his work on films like Hellraiser and The Grudge. Described as “the most terrifying album ever made,” this 15-track release blurs the lines between music and cinema, offering an immersive horror experience purely through sound.
The album is structured like a soundtrack to an unmade horror film, with each track seamlessly transitioning into the next, creating a cohesive narrative arc. Young’s orchestral compositions intertwine with LVCRFT’s signature spooky pop, resulting in a chilling yet danceable collection of songs. Tracks like “Tsunami (Overture)” and “Kill Room” showcase this fusion, delivering both eerie atmospheres and infectious rhythms.
Mixed in Dolby Atmos by J Clark, the album was meticulously crafted to heighten the immersive experience and engulf listeners in three-dimensional horror. To celebrate the release, LVCRFT hosted a packed listening party in total darkness at the iconic Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Vine, giving fans a cinematic deep dive into their haunted sonic universe.
In July 2024, LVCRFT and Christopher Young unveiled the Scream Warriors immersive audio experience at Midsummer Scream in Long Beach, California. This exclusive activation plunged attendees into a 10-minute auditory journey set within the confines of a psychopathic madman’s kill room. The experience featured a state-of-the-art 18-speaker 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos array, enveloping participants in complete darkness to heighten the terror. Visuals by Strangeloop Studios, powered by the 4Cast MVP Multimedia Visual Performer, synchronized with the audio to create a fully immersive environment. This collaboration between LVCRFT, Young, and Dolby Labs brought the album’s cinematic horror to life, offering fans a visceral encounter with the “soundtrack to a horror movie that hasn’t been made yet.”
Scream Warriors is available now on all major streaming platforms, inviting fans to dim the lights, and embark on a sonic journey through the darker side of their own minds.
For those listening at home, Scream Warriors was designed to deliver maximum impact no matter the setup. Thanks to Dolby Atmos, the album’s immersive mix can be experienced not only in professional multi-speaker environments but also through soundbars, headphones, and even standard earbuds using binaural rendering. Whether you’re streaming on Apple Music, Tidal, or Amazon Music, the eerie detail, depth, and dimensionality of the Atmos mix pull you straight into the horror — no special gear required.
